Em Piro is an artist, activist, organizer and performance researcher focused on material and virtual geographies, the politics of assembly, ecology, and decolonial feminism. Hxr art and research has been presented in galleries, theatres, uhaul trucks, bars, universities, basements, street corners and riverfronts in St Louis, Toronto, New York, Seattle, Stockholm, Lisbon, Montreal, Edinburgh and in cyberspace. Other people have given hxr awards.
